Lakewood Country Club Rockville Wedding

For those of you that know me well, you’re fully aware of how much I *LOVE* photographing the hora!  And I mean L.O.V.E!!!  This is a very lively Jewish circle dance where the bride and groom are raised above the crowd on chairs as their guests sing and dance around them.  I absolutely love capturing the spirit, energy, and tradition of this special dance, and it’s one of the most fun ways for guests to show their love and honor the newlyweds on their wedding day.  And the hora at Rachel and Josh’s wedding was no exception!  I especially adored the moment when Rachel was raised in her chair.  You could see the rush of excitement in her face as she was lifted into the air, her hand reaching up to the ceiling just above her as she let out a shriek of elation.  This was a celebration to be remembered!
